Student of the Month - October, Level 2

DCSS is continuing it's newest feature --DCSS Student of the Month! Every month we will highlight a new student from Level 1 and Level 2, and share their soccer story.
First up for October, Michael Wimpee! Mike has taken many DCSS classes, he has a strong interest in the technical drills and tactical elements of the game. Thanks for all that you bring to class!
Name: Michael Wimpee
Which DCSS class do you attend? Level 2 and the Advanced class
Position you like to play? Anywhere in the middle of the field is great--striker, midfield, or defense.
What got you into soccer? My parents signed me up for a class as a kid, probably about six years old.
What you like most about soccer? From a playing perspective I like that it's great exercise that's easy to get up for; I can't find the motivation to go running by myself. As for watching, I can't think of one thing that stands out. I love the tactics and that teams have distinct styles of play, and I'm always in awe of the skill the pro's have.
What's the most important thing you've learned through DCSS classes, or your favorite drill or class memory? My favorite drills involve quick passing and movement where you have to think ahead and act quickly to keep up.
